Dr. Ma goes on her first medical care trip to Ensenada during her first year of family practice residency. The trip was orchestrated by two registered nurses, Matt Shriver and Sue Yamamoto.
Through her aid work in Ensenada, Dr. Ma meets her future husband

Dr. Liu joins Dr. Ma in her yearly trips, and begins providing her expertise to those outside of the healthcare community
Drs. Ma and Liu bring support specialists to provide healthy food and vitamins to families which can’t afford them to keep them healthy and strong
The team has grown to more than 60+ people volunteering aid work to adults, children, and the elderly.
Dr. Liu and the team visit China to share knowledge and improve healthcare practices
The team begins sourcing PPE tyvek suits made in the USA for physicians in China to help try and contain the epidemic and prevent it from leaving China.
After the pandemic reaches American shores, the team procures thousands of masks and PPE equipment for doctors in the greater LA area
Doctors formulate nutrient list for their own protection
First prototypes of NacPro+ become available and the doctors begin distributing to colleagues and patients
